Key Responsibilities of the Software Engineering Intern at eBay:
- Build robust, scalable software for eBay’s platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve code, services, and system architecture.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, providing innovative ideas for technology and product improvement.
- Develop new features and optimize existing products using algorithms and data structures.
- Work closely with product and design teams to understand end-user needs and deliver impactful solutions.
What You Will Bring:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD degree program in computer science or related fields with an expected graduation between December 2025 – Summer 2026.
- A maximum of 0-3 years of professional/full-time work experience (internships/co-ops not included).
- Proficiency in Java, Python, Scala, JavaScript, or other programming languages.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), distributed systems, and cloud technologies.
- Interest in Full Stack Development and familiarity with front-end and back-end technologies.
- Solid experience with algorithms and data structures.
- Experience in building software applications (academic projects, internships, or personal projects).
Salary and Benefits
- Pay Range: $2,720 – $4,240 Bi-weekly (California, New York, Washington).
- Pay may vary based on location, education, skills, and experience.
