Position Summary:

As part of Walmart’s Cybersecurity Team, you will protect the company’s vast digital ecosystem, identify potential cyber threats, and help create innovative solutions for network and data protection.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Walmart is hiring for various roles in its Cybersecurity Team, and below are the different positions you might be considered for, based on your skillset:
- Network Engineer, Cybersecurity:
- Troubleshoot and resolve network security infrastructure issues.
- Monitor network performance and enhance network security.
- Collaborate with senior team members and suppliers for system performance reviews.
- Systems Engineer, Cybersecurity:
- Diagnose and resolve security system issues.
- Monitor and maintain security systems, including spam filtering and identity management.
- Conduct security audits and recommend improvements.
- Specialist, Security Testing:
- Assist development teams in applying security methodologies.
- Perform vulnerability testing and suggest code fixes for security flaws.
- Intelligence Analyst III, Cybersecurity:
- Monitor cyber threats and analyze data to discern patterns of attack.
- Prepare intelligence briefings for internal stakeholders.
- Intrusion Analyst III, Cybersecurity:
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity events.
- Document procedures and support SOC processes.
- Data Assurance Analyst III, Cybersecurity:
- Utilize data loss prevention tools to monitor data movement.
- Analyze alerts and assist in setting up data loss prevention systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.
- Expected graduation date between December 2024 – August 2025.
- 0-2 years of full-time relevant experience (internship or research-based roles excluded).
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Certifications such as Security+, Network+, GISF, CISA, CISSP, CCSP, GCIH.
- Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and integrating accessibility best practices.
